ABOUT HALO

HALO (Homeschool Athletic and Leadership Organization) is a homeschool athletic program that has spent the last 14 years serving over 7 counties in the greater North Georgia area. We have grown from 23 athletes and 1 sport to over 150 athletes and 5 different sports. As we have continued to grow, we have debated over the years about God’s direction and purpose for our program. After many prayers, having been asked extensively by families, and researching the need in the area, we decided to branch out into academics. We started HALO Academy in the Fall of 2023! We currently meet at Bethabara Baptist Church on HWY 78 on Mondays. Classes start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4 pm. We are a  fully accredited one-day-a-week a la carte program, available to 6-12 graders. Each semester is 16 weeks long. We proudly offer traditional core classes as well as many eclectic and useful electives, including a trade route for students!
Although the Academy is an extension of our athletic program, we will NOT require any of our athletes to participate in HALO Academy! Although there is a discount for enrolled students, these programs are separate. You do not need to enroll in the Academy to play sports with the HALO Wolfpack and you do not need to be a part of the Wolfpack to be a student at HALO Academy.

Our goal is to serve and bolster the homeschool community by providing new options. 
H.A.L.O. (Homeschool Athletic and Leadership Organization) exists to provide an opportunity for homeschool children to participate in rigorous academics and organized competitive athletics to teach Christian-based principles that will encourage each young person to strive for spiritual maturity in all areas of their lives.
